Stupid me failed to read directions and discovered that I need documents like an original birth certificate to get the learner’s permit for my son.
Even worse, I was not able to get my M-1 endorsement. As it turns out, I have a failure to appear on a no proof of insurance ticket from 2014 in San Benito County. I got a speeding ticket there in 2014 and did not have my insurance card with me (even though the policy was in effect). I took care of the speeding ticket, but apparently the court did not clear this for some reason (the speeding ticket does not show up). Because it is an FTA, I have to take a day off and drive over there for court to fix it. At this rate, here is my next ride:

All in all, an unsuccessful day. Sigh.

So what you’re telling us is that not even lawyers read the fine print? That’s what it sounds like anyway.
